DR. HANIA JALEEL is a Physician with special interest in Diabetology. She completed her Undergraduation from a reputed institutuion. She continued her service in various specialities of medicine until she found her calling in diabetology. She got trained in Diabetology in the prestigious Cardiff University, United Kingdom. Her area of research in Diabetology is early detection of diabetes in high risk individuals and prevention of Diabetes related complications. She has attended Diabetes work shops and is updated in the recent advances in Diabetes. She can converse well in English, Tamil, Urdu and Hindi.
Dr Hania Jaleel, born and brought up in coimbatore was the first doctor in her family. coming from a non medical background she found her calling in medicine because of her interest to help people in pain. She completed her schooling in coimbatore and went on to join the prestigious yenepoya medical college for her medical education between 2004 and 2010. following this she worked as a physician in the famous bowring hospital at bangalore in the year 2010-2011. She moved to Chennai in 2012 where she continued working as a physician until she chose to get trained under the best at Cardiff university, uk for diabetes management between the years 2013-2015. She has been continuing her services as a diabetologist and has a special interest in geriatric diabetic management. She continues to write articles on diabetes prevention, care and control . She takes time off to attend meetings to spread awareness and educate people on living healthy with diabetes.
